In the Vietnam War, US Soldiers performed daily routine duties on their assigned weapons or equipment.  The job of a Tank Crew man had many tasks that needed to be done. Without these tasks the tanks would not be functional. which could of cause problems in the war. The loaders of the tank would drop the correct ammunition into the tank. The other members of the tank crew would clean, replace, and re-fill the gas. Some of the crew would adjust the wheels while the machine gun man would adjust the machine gun. Pilots in the Vietnam War had similar duties as the crew. Pilots would repair, clean, re-arm, and re-fuel their jets. The soldiers of the Vietnam War had all of the dirty jobs. They had jobs from going into battle, to making repairs. The soldiers would go out on patrols, search for enemies, perform maintenance, clean, re-fill, and re-arm vehicles.
